Anterior composite esthetic cases can be a very enjoyable part of a dental practice. However, they can also be a time-consuming, difficult and unpredictable procedure. In this course, you will learn about a digital workflow resulting in a custom matrix system that reliably allows you to deliver esthetic, predictable and efficient anterior composite restorations to your patients.

Introduction to Bioclear  (Zubair Ravat)

Bioclear was founded in 2007 by Dr David Clark in Tacoma Washington.  Bioclear designs and produces innovative clear anatomical matrices which support the Bioclear composite placement technique.  This technique has been so successful it is currently being taught full curriculum by four Universities; U of Alberta, U of Montreal and Roseman in Utah just graduated their first class in 2018 that learned this technique exclusively.  Loma Linda has just committed to converting as well.

The Bioclear Method is a systematic set of modern engineering techniques which utilizes warm injection molded composite to restore teeth.

Learning Objectives:

• Understand the basics of the Bioclear Method
• Understand the advantages of using the Heated injection molding technique for composite for more predictable class II's, III's, Peg laterals, Black triangle closures and large diastemas. 
• Have the confidence to implement the Bioclear Method in their practice immediately.
• Know where to get more information and training through hands-on CE courses.

Mellissa Rubbelke is a Senior Executive Sales Account Specialist for 3M Oral care and have worked for 3M for 18 years. I have a B.S. Degree from the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, MN. I provide product support and training to dental professionals on the 3M Oral care products. In my free time I enjoy Sailing, Skiing, Running, biking, and spending time with my dogs and husband.

Zubair Ravat is the Strategic Development Manager for Bioclear and has has worked for them for eight years, the first four were as their distributor in London before moving to NYC where he currently resides and covers the Eastern half of the US, as well as managing Bioclear's European distributors. 

In the time he has been in NYC, Bioclear has been introduced into countless study clubs (including Seattle Study Club and Spear), dental schools (NYU, Temple, UNC) and military bases across the Eastern Half of the United States.
